How to Configure Your Internet Router for GivEnergy Systems

If your inverter won’t connect, check these common causes.

  • Router is only broadcasting on 5GHz (needs 2.4GHz).
  • Router security is set to WPA3 (needs WPA2).
  • SSID or password entered incorrectly.
  • Signal strength is too weak (RSSI < 60%).

Troubleshooting:

  • Stand near the inverter with your phone to test Wi-Fi signal strength.
  • Try separating your Wi-Fi into 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
